St. Mary & St. Augustine Housing and Marriage Relief Charity is a nonprofit organization. Our goal is to eliminate poverty housing and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

As a result of poverty in Egypt, it is very hard for a young couple to get married. Preparing for a wedding takes time and money. For those who are less fortunate, they do not have the money. We finance their preparations by purchasing dresses, suits, furniture, and any supplies necessary.

With all the riches in the world, people seem to forget that there is an enormous amount of poverty. In Egypt, there are people who are less fortunate, that live in homes with hay roofs, no windows, no carpeting and sometimes, no bathroom. Some of the people we help don't have a bed to sleep on; they sleep on a mattress on the floor where there are mice and insects. Or they don't have a table to eat on. As people living in America, we take for granted all of the amenities. We forget that there are people back home in Egypt that are not so lucky. Our organization makes their home suitable for human living.These people need our help, and with your generous donations, we can help them and so many more.
